I’ll be honest, I’m calling this a series, but chances are, I’ll just do this one post and forget about it.  But isn’t it a great idea?  Documenting the juicy crap you find out when you Google the crap out of someone?  

So just this afternoon, the following thought popped into my head:  ”What was that guy’s name who would just come into our room freshman year and hang out playing free cell while we were sleeping, or trying to sleep until Tracy and I finally started locking our door before we went to bed?”  He was also that guy who

• burst into our dorm room with a few of his pledge brothers, flipped on all the lights, and stole Tracy’s giant raggedy ann doll while I sat up dumbfounded and very likely naked in bed.  He always denied it, but I know it was him.
• kissed me while we were studying Spanish in the lounge of the women’s bathroom in Chambers.  
• told me I was a bad kisser.
• helped me get Tracy home one crazy night.
• walked me home when I got menstrual cramps after donating blood and nearly passed out at several points during our walk.  

Anyway, after figuring out his name, I Googled this guy and it turns out he’s published two books.  Here’s his “About the Author:”

And if it’s wrong that my first reaction was “Shit, if he can write two books, I need to just get down to it and do it,” then I don’t want to be right.  And Tracy, if you’re still reading along, I know what I’m getting you for Christmas!
